Add what your fortnight is made of, one at a time. Commitments are timed — appointments, lessons, work or school hours — and become the anchors your day’s blocks are cut around. Tasks have a day but no clock time, like chores and errands, and show on your day pages. The menu is the dishes each meal takes on each day. Your fortnight menu

For each meal, add the dishes and the days you eat them. The first day is the fresh serving; the second is leftovers. Leftovers are never eaten the next day, and never more than three days later — the fortnight wraps, so Monday B follows Saturday B. Leftovers of an afternoon or evening meal can also become an earlier meal: dinner on Sunday A can be breakfast on Tuesday A. About eight dishes cover a meal’s fourteen days, and a meal takes one dish a day. The meals themselves — their names, when you eat them, whether they need prepping or cooking — are ForkKnife’s Questionnaire. Or let your assistant draft the whole menu on the Assistant page.
